Co-op just changed their rules for remote work.

Cameras On, Cyber Threats Off.

Picture this: you're halfway through your morning Teams call, coffee in hand, when your colleague’s face disappears and is replaced by a black screen and a silent mic. You assume they’ve got dodgy Wi-Fi again... but what if it’s not them at all?

Last week, Co-op made headlines by ordering its 70,000+ staff to turn cameras ON for all remote meetings, no exceptions.

The reason? An attempted cyber attack that had the potential to compromise internal systems across food stores, funeral care, insurance, and legal services.
