Another stunning property for our engineers to cable this week.

Wi-Fi is required and installing the cables for this is pretty slow going. As you can imagine we work with a number of other specialists for this type of work who are all experts in their fields for lifting carpets, floorboards, confirming where holes can be drilled etc.

The end result though is the blend of being able to utilise modern technology in the property without compromising on the aesthetics.

We have been upgrading this 16th- century estate this week, trying our best to not disturb the centuries of history. Running cable through walls that have stood for hundreds of years isn’t just technical job it’s a careful balance. Cables have to be routed discreetly to preserve the buildings fabric. This estate was grand enough to receive royal visit, with Queen Elizabeth I herself recorded as staying at the property. The property filmed locations for productions such as Vanity Fair, The Secret Garden and the Dark Knight Rises. In 1940, the grounds became the first training school for the Home Guard, where recruits were taught modern warfare. Even the most historic spaces deserve modern performance.

A big surprise for me last night at the Bristol Life Awards

TVNET - Certified B Corp won the Business Sevices category! We have worked hard the last few years to raise the profile of the company and to be recognised like this was a huge moment for us. A great event and although well out of my comfort zone, doing an unprepared acceptance speech to over 500 people, will be something I will always remember with pride.

We have a great team behind the scenes doing amazing work in all aspects of the business and this is the perfect acknowledgement of that.
