It’s Bristol Radical History Festival at M Shed this Saturday. Tangent will be among the many stallholders and there’s a whole day of talks and a couple of guided walks.

On Sunday Tangent publisher Richard Jones is doing a talk at The Cube in King Square, Stokes Croft at 4.20pm.

It’s part of a counter culture event and he'll be looking at a specific area of music and art – Wild Bunch to Banksy (but starting with The Cortinas).

Saddened to hear of the death of Dr Paul Stephenson, one of the leading civil rights campaigners of his generation.

Tangent Books worked closely with Paul and author Lilleith Morrison to produce his book Memoirs Of A Black Englishman and was also part of the group that commissioned Mike Baker to produce the Bristol Bus Boycott plaque at the bus station.

Deepest condolences to Paul's friends and family.
