With the 2026 World Cup in full swing, the EvolvIT team set up a Fantasy League and World Cup sweepstake.

With so many teams in the tournament, we decided to include all of our charity clients in the draw, with each being allocated a national team.

After the opening three group-stage matches, we introduced a special prize for the lowest-performing team. Unfortunately, Iraq finished bottom of the standings with 0 points and a goal difference of -11.

We're delighted to say that one of our charity clients had Iraq in the sweepstake, meaning they became our first prize winners! A small donation has been made to support their fantastic work.

After sharing the news, their response perfectly summed up the spirit of the competition:

"That’s hilarious – the lowest-performing team – cheers for adding us as a participant, it’s nice to be a ‘winner’!!!"

BIG NEWS!

We are pleased to announce the addition of two new members of staff to the EvolvIT front-line team.

Please join us in welcoming Elliott Dew, who started on Monday 1st June as a Support Technician, and Darrin Walker as a Junior Support Technician, who joined us on Monday 8th June.

This is an exciting time for the company as we continue to grow and expand our front-line support team. We are delighted to have both Elliott and Darrin on board and look forward to the experience and enthusiasm they will bring to the business.

As they get up to speed with our processes and familiarise themselves with our clients and systems, there may be occasions where support requests are passed to another engineer. However, both Elliott and Darrin will soon be taking on front-line support duties, allowing them to develop their knowledge of our services and our clients' environments.

Hello Everyone,

As we begin the new year, we would like to take the opportunity to share an update on some recent role changes within the team.

Over the past nine months, we have been working through a small internal reshuffle to better reflect the evolving needs of the business and our clients. We are delighted to now confirm the following role promotions:

Firstly, we are pleased to announce that Dave Harding has been promoted to Head of Client Services. This reflects the direction his role has taken in ensuring our clients are well supported and kept up to date through regular review meetings, while continuing to uphold the high standards of service we strive to deliver.

Following on from this, we are also excited to announce that Phil Paige has been promoted to Support Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the support team.

Within the technical team, we are pleased to welcome Gerry and Jack into expanded roles:

Gerry has been promoted to Escalations and Project Coordinator, supporting the management of planned projects and installation deadlines, while continuing to play a key role in handling escalated support cases.

Jack has been promoted to Support and Projects Technician, as he becomes more involved in delivering migrations and project rollouts alongside Ben and Gerry.

As many of you will be aware, Darren retired in April 2025. Following this, we welcomed Martin Pike to the team, focusing on procurement and development. His role has included updating our internal systems as we move towards enhanced server solutions, managing client licence purchases, and supporting ongoing development work.

Please join us in congratulating everyone on their new roles and thanking them for their continued hard work and commitment.
