We’re looking forward to 2026, but a quick look back at the blur that was 2025 is definitely worthwhile.
There were many highlights this past year, but notably it’s always great to see an empty loading bay and a fully loaded truck leaving the yard, I don’t think we’ll ever tire of that feeling.
2025 saw us fulfil hundreds of hires and help many shows get out on the road, we walked a long list of festival stages, completed many hours of advancing, built hundreds of risers, loaded in and out of countless venues and donned the black tie to work in the corp events sector in a varied selection of weird and wonderful spaces.
It’s been a really productive and enjoyable year, and the work has been both challenging and rewarding. I’d like to make a few notable mentions -
Largest hire of the year -
Boomtown Fair, 12 live stages of full house generics plus fulfilling all artist specific requirements across every stage. All on site tech support and transport. No small undertaking.
Smallest hire of the year -
Electronic music duo Mitú at the Jam Jar in Bristol, 2x single tier keyboard stands. We still made sure they were polished though.
Most hired out piece of equipment -
DW Collectors Series Pure Maple drum kit. The pure workhorse, and it’s about to go out on our first tour of the year on the 12th Jan.
Least hired out piece of equipment -
Roland SPDSX Pro, does nobody want to move on from the excellent old model? 3 Hires all year.
Quick update from the warehouse - Our team has grown in the warehouse, there’s no longer any excuse for an unanswered call or email.
To meet demand we’ve added a lot of new pieces to the hire stock and shored up the shortfall in certain areas like the high end percussion, acoustic panels and orchestral accessories. So we now stock a huge amount of high quality music stands, LED lights, orchestral chairs and Clearsonic acoustic panels.
We’re now carrying more stock than you can shake a Vic Firth 5B at.
