We are kicking off the week with a brand new exciting feature which has been frequently requested by our users - Handset Auto-provisioning.

Handsets can be linked to extensions via the Manager or API - all you need is the MAC address (located on the back or underneath the handset) , the brand, model of the phone and the extension you'd like to connect it to. Note that Handset provisioning will be ‘turned off’ by default for users, however can be enabled at any point.

The service currently has support for Grandstream (which we can supply) and Yealink handsets. You can also supply your own handsets from the approved model list and simply point the device at our server and associate the device with the extension on the portal or via the API. If you have a particular brand and model at volume then please get in touch with our support team to discuss how we go about adding the template for that particular device.
