10 Years ago a Sony Android TV was cutting edge. Over time all our smart devices seem to get slower & slower. Our returning customer decided it was time to upgrade. So we recommended a LG C-series OLED TV. Super fast menu, packed full of the latest apps & awesome picture.

We noticed that the TV didn't pick up all the stations so after inspecting the aerial lead we found corrosion on the cable. This was coming down the internal aerial cable & wall plate, which was broken. Our aerial installer will be going out to fix it. But in the mean time the aerial lead was zip tied to the cable next to it. This was the perfect place to get the missing stations!

A bodge isn't a bodge if it works.....well temporarily 😉

A Spains purchased Panasonic TV (a few years ago) was wall mounted today in a bedroom. We extended the aerial lead, TV mains lead and hid the wires in some D-line trunking.

Was a little tricky to work in a cramped space but turned out ok.

Out went this 65" Panasonic Plasma TV + dated Bose surround sound system with external garden zone amplifier & in went a 83" Samsung OLED TV with Sonos ARC ULTRA soundbar with 2 x Sonos ERA300 Dolby Atmos rear speakers & 2 x Sonos SUB4 subwoofers + a Sonos Amp to power the 4 existing garden zone speakers.

What an upgrade!

Using Sanus wall mount kits for the TV, ARC ULTRA & ERA300 speakers.

We had to use some trunking to hide the cables as it was the only way to hide them. Thankfully plenty of homely things at the rear to hide the trunking.

Now every night is a move night when your TV is 83" BIG! & the customer has full control of the outdoor speakers even when outside rather than having to come back inside to change songs.
