In case you missed it, recently shared four ways to keep on top of inspections, repairs and maintenance work during a dark period.
Here’s the full rundown. 👇🏼
🏷️ Day 1: Give every asset a QR code
Stick a label on every light, console, rack, piece of rigging and portable tool. Your team can scan it to confirm the asset, update its location, record inspections and log repairs as the work happens.
📅 Day 2: Set a schedule for every asset
Add annual inspections, six-monthly cleans and routine servicing against each asset, with reminders before the work is due.
🛠️ Day 3: Record the work as it happens
Log repairs, notes, photos and anything that needs following up while the work is being completed, rather than relying on someone to update the records later.
📊 Day 4: Check what still needs attention
Use reports to see what is overdue, what remains unresolved and what needs to be completed before the venue reopens.
Whether you’re going fully dark or simply using a quieter period to catch up, a clearer maintenance process helps make sure nothing gets missed.
