From Apprentice to Analyst — celebrating growth at SourceCodeStudio

In July 2023, Kieran Harker joined SourceCodeStudio as an apprentice. Fast forward to today, and he’s now a fully qualified Quality Assurance Analyst, proudly holding his Level 4 Software Tester certificate.

Kieran’s journey is one we’re incredibly proud of — not just because he passed with flying colours, but because he’s become an essential part of our team.

With a background that spans leadership roles at GAME and teaching ICT and Computer Science, Kieran brought with him a unique mix of experience, technical skill, and a genuine passion for growth. From day one, he embraced the collaborative, supportive environment here, and has continued to push himself — and us — forward.

He’s not just a brilliant QA Analyst. He’s a Mental Health First Aider, a music lover, a gamer, and someone who genuinely lifts the team’s energy. (He also still hasn’t forgiven James Veck-Gilodi for not returning his lighter…)

At SourceCodeStudio, we believe in spotting potential and building on it. We value skills, not just CVs — and we work hard to create opportunities for talented people to grow. Kieran’s story is a great example of that in action.
