We are currently recruiting for two experienced Service Desk Analysts to join the busy and growing team. This role will be based from our Head Office in Calne, Wiltshire.
The role will provide the right individual with an interesting and varied job where the majority of their time will be spent working with the Service Desk, with opportunities to assist the Project Team and Onsite Technicians.
Working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
We are offering a salary of £23,000 up to £30,000 – strictly based upon your experience and ability to meet the requirements listed below.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Monitor inbound calls
Support the Service Desk in service resolution
Support Project team on engineering activities
Provide adhoc cover/assistance the local school onsite technician
Provide onsite support where necessary
All positions are subject to a clear, enhanced DBS check as standard practice and must be returned prior to being onsite with any customers.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum of one year experience in an IT support role
Educated to diploma level or suitable equivalent experience in IT
IT Hardware/software awareness
Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server OS
Microsoft Office 365 experience, inc. SharePoint/Teams
Google Workspace (preferable)
Awareness of internet and email
Awareness of ITIL
IT troubleshooting and problem resolving skills
Good standard of oral and written communication skills
Able to prioritise workload
Able to advise clients over the phone
Desirable:
IT Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
Evidence of supporting large numbers of staff
Experience of an ITIL service environment
Awareness of help desk software
Able to provide support within a Windows/Google environment
School MIS (SIMS/Schoolbase/Bromcom/Arbor)
Microsoft SCCM and related Management & deployment products
Apple Device Management via ASM/ABM
