SME 3009 Series II Improved tonearm with fixed headshell.
A few age related blemishes, but still in good working order (recently serviced by me).
SOLD

Vintage 9-inch J-shaped hi-fi tonearm introduced by SME in the mid-1970s. It is a lightweight, refined evolution of the classic SME 3009, built to support high-compliance moving-magnet cartridges with an effective mass of around 6.5g.
Typically seen on Goldring Lenco (GL75 and GL78 plus the Leak badged versions), Thorens (models TD121 to TD150), Garrard (301 and 401). Often seen with the famous Shure V15 cartridge fitted. Ideal for a period correct build/rebuild project.
Suitable modern cartridges include the Audio Technica AT-VM series (my current "affordable" favourites), Ortofon OM and 2M series.
The output cable is included.

Linn Kairn pre-amplifier.
7 inputs including MM and MC phono.
Just serviced - Brilliant power supply capacitors and rechargeable battery replaced. Very good condition, boxed and working remote included. Price also includes a Linn Majik-IL which can be connected as a stereo power amp making a complete amp system. (The Majik was originally intended as a whole house audio distribution system over networks, etc. This is now been redundant and not supported for a long time.)
