A new arrival here at Criterion Audio is the Hifirose RW800.

This is a smart streaming upgrade for music lovers who want modern Connect services without changing the heart of their hi-fi.

Connect it to an existing HiFi Rose streamer with a single USB-C cable to add Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay and Google Cast, or run it independently as a compact network streamer for an amplifier, DAC or active speakers.

Available at £169, this is a cost effective upgrade with maximum flexibility.

Set up is well underway for our Cyrus Audio and Kerr Acoustic event this Friday & Saturday, and here's Jes Kerr himself setting up the mighty K102 in our large demonstration room, ready to be powered by Cyrus' 80 Series streaming pre-amp and a pair of bridged power amplifiers.

Cyrus' brand new 80 Series components will be with us later today and we'll be giving all models in the range their first ever U.K. dealer outing across both days.

We'll also be showing the 40 Series and Cyrus TTP in our first room, all cabled with Chord Company speaker cables and interconnects, and with super clean power from one of their PowerHAUS mains blocks.

Aside from 80 Series presentations on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon it'll be an open house on both days - click the link for further details!

We are thrilled to announce we'll be hosting the first UK dealer event featuring the full Cyrus Audio 80 series on 17th & 18th July 2026!

The eagerly awaited 80 series is the new top-line range of electronics from Cyrus, featuring the 80AMP streaming integrated amplifier, and the 80PRE & 80PWR streaming pre-amplifier and bridgeable stereo power amplifiers.

In a first for Cyrus, all 80 Series components are full-width, giving their engineers extra room to work their magic. Being just a few miles from their Huntingdon office we’ve spent time with prototypes over the past few months, and we can confirm the gains in performance are significant: current Cyrus owners and those new to the brand are in for a treat!

Cyrus have been partnering the 80 Series at international events with loudspeakers from Kerr Acoustic - another manufacturer local to us. Following the hugely positive feedback from these events, we are pleased to announce that we’ve added Kerr Acoustic’s range of loudspeakers to our profile, and we’ll be using models from their range in all three rooms at our event, including the formidable K102 in the large room!
