Bringing art to the people of ...bin lorry style 🚛!

This moving art was commissioned for the Newark Creates Art Trail. The colourful design was created by artist Emily Cartwright in collaboration with fellow artist Mat Clifford and pupils from the Magnus Church of England Academy 👏

It's a great example of the flexibility of wrapping as it's the second time we've wrapped this 26t refuse vehicle for Newark and Sherwood District Council. The first time was 2.5 years ago!

This project for the (IEG) involved the installation of PVC-free wraps to 25+ vehicles whilst mitigating any impact on operations.

The CVW team rose to the challenge and the work was carried out on schedule and to our usual high standards.

Most importantly the customer is happy 😀...

👏♻️ The Big Green Recycling Machine received a fantastic welcome from school children as part of its unveiling 👏♻️

The eye-catching design was inspired by the two winners of an art competition run in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council and SUEZ.

Our design team adapted the winning designs to achieve maximum coverage across the entire vehicle.

Councillor Clive English, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environmental Services and Enforcement, Maidstone Borough Council said:

“Our recycling vehicles are out in our communities every day, so they’re a powerful way to grab attention and start conversations. Eye catching designs help people stop, notice, and think about what happens to their waste once it’s collected. If seeing a vehicle pass by encourages even one household to recycle more or recycle better, then it’s doing an important job in supporting a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Maidstone.”
