eLog Mapping Your Journey What is eLog? ELog is an app that allows users to track their journey through photo-recognition, geo-tagging and time mapping.

eLog seeks to provide an inter-country service, which directly pinpoints people’s location, and directly aids the processing of migrants by government departments

The primary service will be supplying information to governments. Through paid for ‘information requests’, governments will have concrete evidence of a user’s journey, allowing them to speed up the asylum-seeking process and differentia

te between genuine asylum seekers and economic migrants. The secondary offer is a free service to users, allowing them to produce travel evidence to governments upon arrival, as they now have the ability to eLog their journey. Large numbers of migrants are currently travelling to Europe causing governmental institutions dealing with asylum requests to be overwhelmed. This has caused large groups of migrants to accumulate in countries, waiting to be processed by the government. Humanitarian organizations based in user’s home countries affected by conflict will market the product. Introducing pre-established organizations into the marketing strategy allows eLog to go directly to the target market. Inter-governmental organizations such as the UN (UNHCR, UNOCHA) will be contacted to query potential sponsorships and marketing arrangements. The eLog team will also contact the domestic government, and eLog will lobby the asylum departments to implement the eLog system into their refugee-processing programme. Asylum centres will also be appetent to introduce eLog, as it will be the cheap, quick and easy option in creating a strong legal case. The strengths of eLog are extensive, with the primary being that there is nothing of the sort on the market. Initially low capital and operational costs makes creating prototypes and testing the service cheap. The promotion of the service through established humanitarian organizations penetrates the market effectively, narrowing the focus directly on the potential eLog users. The governments requesting data, will pick up the payment to eLog, aiding the humanitarian efforts of the company. The company provides security for users who are going through tough times. This application gives them the power to work towards achieving their end goal of asylum, while undergoing their travels

The team passionately believe in helping refugees across the world, and show strong enthusiasm and commitment to the eLog project, and clear roles have been outlined within the structure of the business. The company environment will be open minded and a platform where the team can talk openly, leaving space for constructive conflict.

"The majority of refugees interviewed said there was a severe lack of access to information..."

"they had no access to information about their legal rights and they couldn’t access information about European asylum law and immigration rules."

eLog provides a revolutionary resource which empowers asylum seekers to learn and understand asylum law. Furthermore, we enable asylum seekers to build their asylum case straight from their smartphone. This revolutionary application speeds up the integration program, helping to settle refugees into their new home.
