We're looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team at Stage Sound Services in Cardiff.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients across the industry, supporting everything from theatre productions and festivals to corporate events and touring shows. You'll build strong client relationships, coordinate equipment hires, and help deliver outstanding technical solutions.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively. Industry and technical experience is an advantage, but we're equally keen to hear from motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop.

We're delighted to announce that, from 1st August, Soundkit Ltd will officially become part of the Stage Sound Services family.

For more than 24 years, Soundkit has been the trusted name in location sound, thanks to the dedication, expertise and passion of Martyn Richards. He has built an outstanding reputation and strong relationships throughout the TV and film industry, and we're honoured to continue that legacy.

As Martyn begins a well-deserved retirement, we'd like to thank him for everything he has contributed to the industry and wish him every happiness in this exciting new chapter.

Bringing Soundkit into the Stage Sound Services group represents an exciting investment in the future of location sound. Based from our Cardiff headquarters, we'll be combining Soundkit's specialist expertise with the resources, facilities and support of Stage Sound Services to further develop the business while maintaining the knowledgeable, personal service customers have always valued.

From August, you'll be supported by Chris, Rhys and James, alongside two very respected professionals in location sound, Elis Griffiths and Lyndon Jones, ensuring the expertise and customer service that Soundkit is known for continues for many years to come.

The Soundkit name isn't going anywhere. The website, telephone number (02920 342907) and email address ([email protected]) will all remain the same, making the transition as seamless as possible.

To everyone who has supported Soundkit over the past two decades—thank you. We look forward to welcoming existing and new customers alike as we build on the incredible foundations Martyn has created.

🌿 Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 – What a Week! 🌿
What an incredible week focused on wellbeing, connection, and taking real action, for ourselves, for each other, and for all of us. 💚

We kicked things off by sharing valuable mental health resources to support our teams, a small group came together to talk about Men's Mental Health and share ideas on how to better support one another. Many enjoyed a brilliant pizza masterclass hosted by our very own Spencer Ward 🍕

Mid-week brought well-deserved moments of relaxation, with calming massage sessions from Sioned Mobile Massage, followed by our Wear It Green Day, complete with fajitas, a team quiz and salsa dancing 🪇 💚

We wrapped up the week by recognising and celebrating our colleagues, taking time to say thank you and appreciate one another 🙏

Throughout the week, daily wellbeing giveaways helped spread a little extra positivity and self-care 🎁

A powerful reminder that when we take small actions together, we create a culture where wellbeing truly matters.

Well, the sun’s shining - and we’re celebrating in style!

Yesterday marked our first official company BBQ of 2026, where we fired things up for around 100 staff and freelancers. From all the classic BBQ favourites to well-earned ice creams in the sunshine, it was a proper summer kickoff.

We don’t just do BBQs — we do them right. Big flavours, great atmosphere, and the kind of team culture that sets the standard.
