Today we've been able to finally welcome our Trusted Network to Stable HQ, have a spot of lunch with them and present our future plans.

We now look forward to celebrating this evening with them and many more at our Annual Stable Shindig in Cardiff Castle.

It's been months and months of planning but here we are, on the eve of .

We've returned this year once again as Bursary Sponsors and our team are all packed, prepped and excited to see what the next two days hold - we have team members on our stand (A13), wandering around as Delegates and also at the Leaders Dinner.

And here it is, the first official Stable Christmas since we moved into our beautiful Stable Studios offices.

It's been an incredibly busy but rewarding year for us, and even though there was still plenty to do we took a little bit of time out of each day throughout December to remember what Christmas is all about. It's about coming together as friends, family and colleagues to embrace the festive spirit and have a lot of fun along the way.

Over the past few weeks we've had some laughs with our Christmas activities like Bingo Lingo, guess the baby picture, festive bake-off, After Eight challenge, The Stable Quizmas and our Silly Stable Awards which went down a treat (evidence in photo below).

As we begin to wrap up for the Christmas holidays we can look back on a very successful year, not just our business performance and growth, but more importantly how we have fostered a very special environment and team spirit here.
Remember, a positive workplace culture is for life, not just for Christmas...

The Stable team is growing from strength to strength, this year we've almost doubled in size and added 10 new members to the ranks.

One of those new team members is an old friend of ours, Ian Ticehurst. Having first worked with our CTO David Aspden at Microsoft 12 years ago we were delighted at the opportunity to rekindle their professional relationship and offer Ian a position with us as Delivery Manager.

Ian's experience and expertise will prove invaluable at growing and managing the portfolio of client delivery services and exciting projects within the Solutions arm while also providing key support to the wider Stable team.

Croeso Ian, we're looking forward to seeing what you will achieve with us.

What a night!

A true pleasure to be in such great company and big well done to all finalists, thanks also to the organisers for a memorable event.

It's taken a couple of days for us to come back to earth as we were all over the moon to win The SME of the Year at the Cardiff Business Awards 2022.

Our CEO, Anwen Aspden, was thrilled to collect the award on behalf of Stable: "We are tremendously proud to win the SME of the Year award - it is a true testament to the commitment and talent of our amazing team. 2022 has been an exciting year for Stable in so many ways and I can't wait to see what we will all achieve in 2023. Amser cyffrous!"

Today is the day. We are really excited about tonight's Cardiff Business Awards where we're a finalist in the SME of the Year category.

We are proud to be nominated alongside some great companies and we wish the best of luck to Box UK, Workbench Office, FlyForm, and Hoop Recruitment this evening.

We think we have a great team here at Stable (if we do say so ourselves), and one of the areas in particular that is going from strength to strength is our Solutions Team, where Toby Harris works as an Learning and Development Lead.

Toby has been developing and creating our Stable Consultants Hub which is an application that really excites us. We won't dive into what the hub is and the purpose it serves just yet, however we will admit that we are really looking forward to launching it and can’t wait to share more information when it’s ready to shout about.

Toby is also a big name in Everyman Theatre Cardiff, he's currently working on a play coming to Chapter, Cardiff: where he is Directing 'Road' by Jim Cartwright. If you’re interested in going to the show, then the performance is live between 29th Nov – 3rd Dec and tickets will be on sale soon from the Chapter website. https://www.chapter.org/

It's been a busy few months for Toby, and we want to recognise all the accomplishments he's achieved at Stable.

The first rule of Flight Club is you do not talk about Flight Club.
Well, that would make a pretty weak Facebook post wouldn't it?

Especially as we want to talk about how much we enjoyed taking the team out last Friday. So, we're breaking the rules with this one!

You see, we believe that we're building something quite special here at Stable. Every single one of our People brings an important attribute to the team. As individuals they are brilliant but as a collective, they are unstoppable.

The other night we continued to strengthen our team spirit and togetherness with some 'friendly' competition and a few drinks at Flight Club Cardiff. Something seemingly small like this has a positive experience on our fast-growing squad.

We don't enforce a culture on our team, instead we hire the right people that create our culture. We are One Stable.
