We love taking on projects with requirements a little "outside the norm".

We thought we'd revisit a mobile-centred project from a couple of years ago that was technically challenging but really satisfying to deliver for now longstanding client G&R Electrical...

They are a traditional electrical contractor based in Cardiff and Leeds but operating across the UK, specialising in the Smart Meter utilities sector. Despite their traditional trade – they were keen to embrace new digital to create an online solution to manage their hardware stock and record engineer installation activity.

We quickly established that G&R had a broad list of requirements but no clear route to get there. Their existing processes were split across spreadsheets and paper-based methods. We offered and , and created a clear brief to and a web-based solution to efficiently manage and administer stock both centrally, and remotely.

As a child of the 80's I was SUPER excited Design Tribe was appointed by Ymddiried - currently the Welsh Broadcasting Trust - to oversee the of their charitable trust to become Grants . The organisation was founded from the proceeds derived from selling the rights to the much loved cartoon series (google it kids)! We'll be providing to the organisation helping them move towards a modernised to better with their audience of young professionals embarking on careers in the media and looking for a little leg up, and can be more effectively applied to , , and . Try and spot the results over the coming months.

During St David’s day week 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, it was an absolute pleasure to be involved in some people and product 📸 by Owen Mathias at Hard Lines Coffee and Castle Farm Dairy, both suppliers to Pughs' fantastic food halls and cafes. Design Tribe will be utilising the imagery as part of our work creating environmental large format design for display at their sites in Radyr, Wenvoe and Rogerstone telling the stories of local suppliers who care about quality products.
