🚫 Common scams to watch out for:
• Phone calls claiming to be from “Microsoft” or “your internet provider”
• Pop-ups saying your computer is infected and urging you to call a number
• Emails or texts asking you to “verify” your bank or personal details
• Requests for remote access to your computer from unknown callers

💡 Remember:
✔️ Legitimate companies will NEVER cold call you to fix your computer
✔️ Never give out personal or banking details to unexpected contacts
✔️ Don’t allow remote access unless you fully trust the source
✔️ If it feels suspicious — it probably is

We cover a lot of miles repairing computers in and around the Cardiff area every week — and honestly, what’s going on with the potholes lately? 🚗💻

It feels like every road has a crater waiting to swallow a wheel. The problem doesn’t seem to be improving either — if anything, it’s getting worse. More repairs, more diversions, and more time spent dodging holes instead of helping customers.

We know roads take a beating from weather and traffic, but right now it feels like the situation needs some serious attention. When local businesses and residents are constantly navigating damaged roads, it affects everyone — from travel time to vehicle costs.

💻 Another Day, Another Failing Hard Drive…

Today we had yet another laptop come into us with a failing hard drive. Unfortunately, it’s something we see all the time. When a drive starts to fail, files can quickly become corrupted or completely inaccessible — sometimes without any warning.

The good news in this case? The customer had backed up their important data like photos and documents, so nothing was lost. 👍

Sadly, that’s not always the case. Many people don’t realise how important backups are until it’s too late and years of memories, work, and personal files are gone.
