We’re hiring a Pre-Press & Production Operative to join our signage and branding team. It’s a varied role in a modern, high-energy environment, split between preparing accurate, print-ready artwork files and supporting our in-house production department, all within a great supportive team.

Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.

The highlight of our Official Partnership with Cardiff City FC last season? Working with two incredible charities Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice and Barrie Wells Trust to host 50 children and their families in the Morgans Consult Legends Lounge.

It was an absolute pleasure, our favourite moment from last season.

160 acres. A Grade II* listed castle. Woodland trails, a lake, a miniature railway and one of Wales’ most visited heritage sites. Cyfarthfa Park has a lot going on, and visitors deserve a wayfinding system that helps them make the most of it.

We were appointed to deliver exactly that: a complete wayfinding strategy and signage scheme that reflects the park’s landscape, its heritage and its community.
Materials were key. Timber, Pennant stone and metal detailing connect the signage to its surroundings rather than sitting awkwardly within them. The result is a bespoke sign family that feels like it belongs.

From the initial audit through to manufacture and installation, we managed every stage. The park now has a clear, accessible navigation system ready for the next chapter of Cyfarthfa’s story.

We’ve been supporting the charity across various initiatives in recent years, so this was an opportunity for them to share valuable insight into the incredible work they do to support people and families across our local communities.

If you’re a Cardiff based business, please reach out to Cardiff Foodbank and support them however you’re able. such an inspiring story.

5 statutory signage gaps we see on almost every site...

Most sites aren't non-compliant because they ignored the rules. They're non-compliant because the rules changed after the signage went up.

Here's what comes up most often:

1. Outdated symbols. BS EN ISO 7010 has evolved. Older signs using deprecated symbols may no longer meet current standards, even if they're in perfect condition.

2. Poor lighting. A sign that's perfectly legible in daylight can be useless in an emergency evacuation. Photoluminescent backing and adequate illumination aren't optional extras.

3. Post-Grenfell gaps. Floor and flat identification signage is now a legal requirement in high-rise residential buildings. Many existing buildings are still catching up.

4. Accessibility oversights. Signage that hasn't been reviewed through a BS 8300 lens — particularly in older or refurbished buildings — often falls short of the reasonable adjustments duty.

5. No maintenance regime. Fading, damage, or obstruction turns compliant signage into a liability. Regular review is part of the obligation, not a nice-to-have.

Statutory signage isn't a one-time installation task. Legislation evolves, buildings change use, and standards are updated.

If you're not sure your site is current, that's usually a sign (lol) that it's worth checking.

☀️The sun was shining on Cyfarthfa Park’s new wayfinding scheme this week. The signage, featuring pennant stone, iron effect powder coated aluminium surrounds and wood effect composite panelling, reference the heritage of the area.

Lovely designs my 🙌
