Merry Christmas everybody! It’s been a pleasure to repair each and every device this year (well, most 🤣).

Thanks to everyone who chose to use us in 2019. We hope to see you all and more in 2020!

Recently we have had two Technics 1200s and a DJM-400 in for service/repair.

The DJM-400 required some board work (repair to traces that had been ripped off) as well as a new potentiometer for the headphones volume. Additionally it required a good clean and some fader caps replaced to look good cosmetically. By utilising our soldering skills we have drastically kept the cost of parts required down, thus offering our customer a much better value repair.

The Technics turntables were actually electronically and physically fine, we did not find any faults. We did however give the decks a good clean as they too were in a sorry state. We did not charge our customer for the diags or the clean on the turntables and we even threw in a pair of our branded slipmats 🙂

The incredible Pioneer CDJ-2000nxs2 - repaired today in our workshop.

This unit had sustained liquid damage, and one of it’s boards required cleaning. Along with this, we needed to replace five tactile micro-switches.

Technics 1210mk2s that have been shown a bit of love.

Both have had:
- Target lights (white LED)
- Pitch faders cleaned and click removal
- Pitch fascias
- Earth wires
- Factory calibration as per service manual

Along with the above they have been cleaned up and look really nice as a result!
