An Update From The Team
Over recent months, we have been going through one of the biggest transitions in the business to date.
As websites, platforms, security, systems, and online expectations continue to change rapidly, it became clear that our internal processes also needed to evolve. Continuing to work the old way simply was not sustainable and would not have protected quality, clients or the long-term future of the business.
What should have been a straightforward transition, unfortunately, became far more difficult than expected.
Alongside implementing major business changes, there were repeated external pressures, disruption and unnecessary situations that created significant strain behind the scenes and dramatically slowed progress. At the same time, Lucy was also navigating serious personal and family circumstances outside of work.
The result was months spent firefighting instead of building.
Many clients have been incredible throughout this process. Those who followed the updated systems, respected the process and worked with us while changes were being implemented have our genuine thanks and will benefit hugely.
As systems continue stabilising, projects and situations are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis so we can support clients fairly and continue moving everyone forward properly.
Lucy wanted to share a brief personal note:
"For years, I poured everything into helping clients and supporting businesses, putting everybody else's priorities ahead of my own. During this period, I kept trying to protect clients, protect the business and keep everyone happy, while absorbing pressure from every direction.
The reality is that it took a far bigger mental, physical and emotional toll than I expected.
Looking back, stronger boundaries should have been in place much sooner.
To every client who trusted the updated process and showed patience, understanding, and kindness, thank you. It has genuinely mattered more than you know."
Going forward, Lucy has stepped further behind the scenes, focusing on strategy, development, and the business's future direction, while day-to-day communication now comes through the team.
We are getting there.
The systems are improving.
Services are continuing to be upgraded.
Exciting projects are underway.
And after a very long period spent firefighting, the focus is finally returning to what should have been happening all along:
Building.
