Comlek are a leading contractor specialising in electrical and network infrastructure installations, for several blue-chip clients throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking experienced installation engineers to join our successful, and ever-expanding team.
Based from our West Yorkshire offices this will be a role covering the entire length and breadth of the United Kingdom, the role will be fast-paced and varied, so no two days will ever be the same!
The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work in and around the UK and, be willing to work on days or nightshifts as the programmes dictate.
You will have good knowledge and experience of structured cabling, including, CAT5e, CAT6/6a, CAT7/7a, CW1308 and containment systems. You will be able to read and interpret CAD drawings, technical designs, work to programme schedules, and be able to work as part of (or depending on experience), manage a small team.
The work will predominantly be on commercial or retail properties, completing cabling installations to retail stores, distribution facilities, car showrooms and new offices.
Excellent rates of pay depending on your experience.
Overnight accommodation will be provided.
Candidates should ideally have:
Asbestos Awareness
ECS / CSCS Accreditation
IPAF 3a & 3b
City & Guilds 3667-02 Copper Cabling
Relevant experience in structured cabling installations
Full UK driving licence
MUST be flexible in terms of travel and working away from home
The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
