Three years ago today, we launched Tidewater 3D.

In our teeny tiny workshop that we grew out of very quickly, but stayed in for way too long!

Seeing how far this business has come since our early days of "why does this 3D print look so bad?" to looking back on three years of consistent work, that has never really stopped and we are both eternally grateful.

Our goal has always been quality over quantity. We will never be a print farm and there are certain things we will never sell commercially because the market has become so oversaturated.

But we feel so lucky to have been part of so many incredible projects - many that we can't talk about because of NDAs.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Tidewater over the past three years. It hasn't always been easy, but we are so happy to be here.

A little while ago I was approached by to get involved in the Love Your Town event. I was asked if I could design and print a series of Red Plaques for the Red Plaque Trail. The Grimsby Plaques went up today including at and and we popped along to have a look. I’m not sharing the Riverhead selfie I took though because it BAD.

A little holiday tradition at is placing the elves doing mischief for the next morning’s team to find. When I saw the elf in its little onesie, I knew they had to be Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.
So I did what any sane person would do, and I 3D printed a tiny little axe, and conscripted .from.poppy to print and laminate a teeny little business card.
Not every project has to be huge or important. Sometimes it’s making film props for an elf.
