As a community, we all play a role in creating a healthier, more sustainable environment! 💚 And some people go above and beyond – litter picking, planting, running clean-ups, or leading sustainability projects that make Cramlington greener. This award is sponsored and judged by Potts Print (UK).

Nominate your local heroes for our 7th annual Green Award! This could include people or groups who:

✅ Regularly litter pick or help keep our streets and green spaces tidy
✅ Plant trees, flowers or wildlife-friendly spaces
✅ Promote sustainable practices like recycling or reducing waste
✅ Protect local natural resources or wildlife habitats
✅ Run environmental projects that benefit the wider community

A new chapter begins at Potts Print (UK) as the senior management team takes full ownership of the business.

With Michael Sandford Couch retiring as Executive Chairman and completing the planned sale of his shares, Potts now moves forward under the leadership of the team already running the company day‑to‑day.

This transition strengthens continuity, protects the culture that makes Potts what it is, and gives the management team the mandate to drive the business forward with clarity, stability and ambition. It’s business as usual — with a renewed focus and ownership from the people closest to the work.

Last week, Potts Print (UK) was honoured with the ‘Carbon Conscious’ Award at Northumbrian Water's prestigious ‘Going the Extra Mile (GEM)’ Awards.

These awards celebrate the outstanding contribution of supply partners who help Northumbrian Water achieve their vision. With 12 categories reflecting their values, competition was fierce — we were up against major national organisations including Esh Group, Galliford Try,The University of Manchester, and Mott MacDonald Bentley | MMB.

Winning the Carbon Conscious award is a testament to our ongoing commitment to net zero, through reducing and offsetting carbon across the goods and services we provide. What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that it was voted for by internal stakeholders at Northumbrian Water & Essex and Suffolk Water — a true reflection of the impact of our partnership. We’re grateful for their ongoing support and recognition 🙏
