Stores & Operations Assistant Job Opportunity

Data-Path is a thriving business and is looking for an enthused Stores & Operations Assistant, based in our busy Crewkerne offices. You will be working in a small friendly team of three on numerous different tasks daily, with 50% stores and 50% office-based workload.

Stores based tasks will include receiving and distributing deliveries, picking parts for engineers and general organisation of the stores. Office based tasks will include clerical work, emailing clients, ordering materials, and downloading test equipment.

Full training will be provided.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00, with great career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided, but a "can do" attitude and practical skill set would suit the roles.

Based out of our Crewkerne HQ, the position will see you travelling throughout the UK to a variety of customer sites. Works include both copper and fibre optic networks, audio visual and equipment roll-outs.

Responsibilities:
• Account Management – Single point of contact for customer and providing first class customer service
• Estimating – Provide accurate quotations to best practice designs
• Managing Projects – Manage multiple jobs and projects to be completed on time, in budget and to the customers satisfaction
• Liaison with Engineers – Effectively manage engineers to motivate and bring the best out of individuals
• Business Development – Explore new opportunities by upselling additional services to existing customers and securing new customers
• Project Team Support – Provide support to existing project team by completing tasks such as compiling RAMS, quotations and surveys as required

Skills:
• In depth understanding of structured cabling & associated technologies
• Highly organised
• A motivated self-starter
• Reactiveness & flexibility
• Able to focus under pressure
• A personable character, able to work as part of a wider team

Training and support from the Project Management team will be provided for this role, with great progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Hours: 8:00 to 17:30 (flexibility depending on customer demands)
