A busy week onsite in London supporting one of our clients during their team off site.

We’ve been helping onboard new starters, deploy and configure new laptops, complete user setups and provide hands on IT support whilst the full team is together in one place.

Whilst a large amount of modern IT support can be delivered remotely, we still believe there is huge value in being physically onsite when it matters most. Whether it’s onboarding days, office moves, project rollouts or major changes, having engineers there in person helps things run smoother, faster and with far less disruption for staff.

For this rollout, devices were prepared, configured and handed directly to users, allowing everyone to get up and running quickly with the right setup from day one.

Remote support is important, but sometimes nothing replaces having the right people onsite.

New camera installation day for one of our clients.

This camera was installed before IT Fast took over management of the site and unfortunately it hadn’t been fitted correctly.

The cable entry was facing upwards, allowing water to enter and collect inside the weatherproof junction box over time. This caused corrosion and ultimately led to the camera failing.

Our installation team replaced the damaged camera, fitted a new junction box correctly, and replaced the affected cabling to ensure everything is now fully weather protected and working as it should.

Another great job completed by the IT Fast installation team.

Another great training day completed for the team.

Our engineers Steve and Kyle Jnr have successfully completed their Tetra Leaning Ladder safety course today.

At IT Fast, we take health and safety seriously and continuously invest in training to ensure all work is carried out to the highest possible standards. Whether we are installing Starlink systems, CCTV, WiFi networks or working at height, safety always comes first.

Well done both.

Alongside the network upgrade, we’ve also deployed a new Dell server to improve performance, reliability, and overall day to day operations.
