Damages due to previous capacitor leakage. It had spread under the ide port on this poor 600 causing sporadic operation of the ide port. New cards, new adaptors, all led to the same result. A full cleanse, re wire, re trace and new port is in order.

We are building a custom 500. To go on sale, possibly today. Fully cleaned and tested. It will@have a df0: Gotek/floppy switch with external cables Gotek (case un modified to the 500).
