One of our first signs has finally retired…
After more than 10 years in all weathers with zero maintenance - this small oak-framed hanging sign has given up.
It was one of the very first signs we ever made — built by Marcin Lemiesz with his own hands — and the first one we’re replacing purely due to age.
The owner is keeping it as memorabilia and has ordered a like-for-like
replacement.
Let’s look at the numbers.
Just over 10p per day.
Around 13p including VAT.
That includes design, manufacture and installation — for ten years of uninterrupted visibility.
That’s not an expense.
That’s an investment that paid for itself many times over.
