On the bench later for testing, my speedy/epic Nissan 64pin that will work on anything from the CG10 to SR20, it will require a different trigger wheel to work tho, supports ACC relay control, idle up input, extra inputs for fuel and oil pressure and fuel level sender, onboard wideband controller option and cable, VSS, 3 spare outputs via diag plug, EML control, up to 4 ign outputs and other features via jumper selection to support the different pinout combinations like S13/S14SR20 engines etc.

Nissan 64pin ECU design done for a client, supports the CG10 through to the SR20DET by adjusting a couple of link wires to suit the engines ever so slightly different pinouts, VR conditioner option in case they went to crank VR setup.
onboard wideband.
oil & fuel temp inputs with adjustable bias.
oil & fuel pressure inputs.
fuel tank level input with adjustable.
spare output on the diagnostics plug.
spare input to switch tables on the diagnostics plug.

Well, after studying RUSEFI and EPIC EFI firmware on a Mega100 Blue PCB (STM32F407) i got my hands on this week i can happily say i will be providing a new board that will support Speeduino (inc STM32F4 FW) / RUSEFI / EPIC firmware options.

Running RUS or EPIC (I prefer EPIC as easier to work the menu's) will allow upto 8cyl full sequential with huge VE and Timing tables, with the additions of Knock detection, DBW, PWM Water pump, EGT and CANBUS, plus more.

With small mods to my current boards (ULN replaced for one that supports 3.3v) you can already run RUS or EPIC FW (basetune created ready and bench tested for EPIC), i will make a knock sensor PCB that can use the 4wire idle socked and socket pins to add knock to my boards already out there thould someone want to swap to the Mega 100 or Mega144 (144 pending a base tune doing with correct pinouts but easy to sort).

Fun times ahead :-)

Created a copy of the little black box board last night to be igntion only dual channel (with IGBT option) and wideband controller for 2cyl bikes with dumb coils and cars running a single dumb coil with a distributor (V6/V8), or you can use a wasted spark smart coil without the IGBT's fitted for 4 cylinder engines.

My own version of the speeduino 0.3 but a fully loaded version with IO never featured on a speeduino board so far by default.

left top we have outputs for Boost, 2x Idle, VVT, 2x grounds, Injectors 1-4.

left bottom we have 1-4 Ignition, 2x grounds, 4 wire idle (optional 4x IO if needed).

bottom left vwe have Tacho, Pump, Fan1, Fan2, Spare 1 and Spare 2, 2x grounds and 2x 5v.

bottom right we have 3x grounds, 2x 5v, clutch, D21, Knock, Fuel flex, Idle up input.

right bottom we have 2x 5v, VR1, VR2, VR3 (VR VSS), 2x grounds.

right top we have IAT, CLT, TPS, MAP, O2, Fuel level, fuel temp, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, all temp inputs and fuel level input have variable bias resistors to suit all types of sensors.

top right we have 6 pins for an LSU 4.9 wideband, 1x wideband 12v input, 2x grounds and 12v main power input.

onboard BT 4pin port for direct fitment of the HC-05 BT module, selectable serial 0 or serial 3 jumpers.

spring loaded terminals or screw type can be used, fits the clear lidded Hammod RP1275BFC case that measures 186 x 146 x 55mm and cable entry gland can fit bottom centre of the board.

new design out soon, all the speeduino 0.4 basics and extra IO as always using a mixture of the NO2C parts and a mini Mega Pro, BlueTooth socket to support the DIY-EFI BT module, the little black box is only 120x80x35mm and assembly only requires one bit of plastic to be cut out making assembly super easy.

For a 3 month old item that’s failed you will be getting a nice complaint!

Wondered why it had stopped charging, control module stuck on with no bolts or screws to hold it so it’s pulled the charging wire off when it fell off

Time to fix it and mount the controller properly and secure the wires correctly
