𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚: we're on the lookout for a Quality Inspector (PCB) to join our team.

📍 Dorchester
⏰ 39 hours per week: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am -5:15pm

The role involves working in a fast-moving production environment, inspecting PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies), both visually and using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), as well as programming the AOI from engineering data.

If you have a keen eye for detail, experience within electronics manufacturing and take pride in maintaining high quality standards, we’d like to hear from you!

You can find us rapidly prototyping PCBs, carrying out box builds, cable assemblies and full system builds, supporting customers from initial concept right through to finished product.

Hidden defects don't stay hidden for long. 👀

Our Scienscope Xspection 3000 allows us to inspect solder joints beneath components like BGAs and QFNs, helping identify defects before products move further through production.

It picks up what optical inspection can't, helping improve first-pass yield and reduce rework.

The quality of a PCB starts long before components are placed. 👌

A large proportion of SMT defects can be traced back to the stencil printing stage, making it one of the most important steps in the entire assembly process.

Even small amounts of solder paste residue can affect print quality, leading to defects that become far more difficult and costly to resolve later in production.

That's why we use the Gen3 Gensonic Stencil Cleaner. By keeping our stencils clean and our printing process consistent, we help reduce variation at the source, supporting higher yields, less rework and greater confidence throughout the rest of the manufacturing process.

It's another example of how the small details make a big difference to the finished PCB.

Today is Aviation Day, so we're taking the opportunity to highlight how our PCBs support the aerospace industry.
