Another busy week sorting out numerous systems, including one where the GPU literally started to smoke after a component on the board went pop and needed a new GPU, another system freshly built by a new customer wasn't booting up at all and had no display and then finished off with a great refurbished system sold with a rather nice new GPU.

And this, folks, is why we renew the thermal paste and keep the PC clean. Really dry thermal paste means poor heat transfer from those toasty COU and GPU chips, so much so that fans sound like a jet engine and performance has to be reduced to keep temps in check 🥵

A returning customer brought their system in for a deep clean and full reset with a clean install of Windows 11.

Much improved looking system and it runs great now too.
