Rhubarb Chairs
I was privileged to create the new brand identity design for Rhubarbchairs, Award Winning creators & restorers of unique furniture

The brand iconography embodies the high quality upholstery skills required in the creation of their furniture, with the needle & thread intertwining to create a representation of the 'R', at the same time symbolically joining 'rhubarb' & 'chairs' together.

For the typography I heavily customised the Avant Garde font, to create more rounded forms, complementing the flow of the thread. However, the needle icon also works as a standalone element for social media.

I was commissioned by Eckel Europe to design and produce a corporate brochure design, supporting sales literature and advertising.

Comprising a 4-page full-colour brochure, giving an overview of their range of high-performance Audiometric rooms and sound booths. Accompanied by individual product inserts, containing more data-heavy content.

As Eckel's target audience are predominantly healthcare-based, the company brochure design and inserts needed to be clear and clean, reflecting both the company and its products as professional and high-quality.

I also provided the print management on the project, from specifying paper stock, obtaining print costs, and arranging delivery.

Mckinney & Co manufacture bespoke curtain poles and handcrafted finials inspired by traditional British interiors, supplying luxury homes, interior designers and international clients across the world.

The website was designed as a visually rich product showcase – presenting the craftsmanship, materials and detail behind the brand in a way that feels refined, elegant and easy to explore.

Rather than functioning as a conventional eCommerce store, the site focuses on presentation, inspiration and enquiry generation, helping position Mckinney & Co as a premium interiors manufacturer within the luxury home furnishings market.

A refined catalogue-style website created for Mckinney & Co – showcasing bespoke curtain poles, handcrafted finials and traditional British interiors styling for a global luxury audience.
