When Dubai Family Office opened their new office in Edinburgh, they had a clear goal: build a workspace that supports smart business operations, professional client meetings and everyday productivity - right from day one.

As a one-stop centre offering business services like business setup support, corporate advisory, legal and accounting services, relocation assistance and property management in the UAE, they work with professionals from all over the world. Their Edinburgh office mirrors this international focus, welcoming lawyers, business owners and visiting partners who need a workspace that just works.

To help them deliver that experience in-house, HeyIT was brought in to design and install their entire technology setup from the ground up.

Taking my new Meta Glasses for a spin 🤣

Today we’re at Dubai Family Office showcasing one of the standout features in their main meeting room - the Samsung Flip 4 we recently installed.

It’s an interactive display designed to make meetings more collaborative, whether you’re brainstorming, presenting, or jumping on a Teams call. What I love about it is how easy to use it is. No complicated manuals, no IT degree required - just walk in, plug in, and start working.

Technology in meeting rooms should feel seamless. If people need a 20-minute tutorial before they can use it, it’s already failed.

This is a great example of how the right setup can enhance a space when working together, making meetings more enjoyable - who could say no to this?

Here’s a quick video I took on site after we installed a Microsoft Teams Room at one of our client’s offices last month. As you can see they're really easy to use and anyone can get connected.

Before this, meetings meant everyone huddling around a laptop - it worked, but it didn’t exactly feel professional. Now they’ve got a proper setup they’re genuinely excited to use when meeting with clients and suppliers.

It’s made a big difference to how they present themselves and supports their goal of staying more connected with clients in 2026. A simple upgrade, but a really impactful one.
