Summaaaa is cominggg.

I feel like if you live in somewhere with a long-ass winter like Scotland, when the sun comes out…things happen.

For one, the sun TIRES me out. But it also puts me in a better mood. So it’s always a fight between trying to make the most of the daylight and vitamin D but also feeling lazy af.

Either way, as a graphic designer…I am always keeping an eye on the events and happenings in my city. And I know when the sun comes out, there’s always a motive to get to. And you know if you want people to show up to your event then you have to have a lovely poster designed by me!

And if you want people to catch on to your new track you also have to have a lovely artwork designed by me too 🤩.

Watch this brand kit change again…

is an every-growing and every-changing business. I am always updating and tweaking the graphic design style and branding to keep up!

I have 0 issue with that. Times change, people change and the industry changes. So we as small businesses do have to keep up. Most small business owners I speak to are finding the transition from paper to online such a huge overhaul for them. Which is completely understandable.

It was my son's 7th birthday at the weekend and it poured with rain for the majority of the day. I ended up changing the time of his outdoor party last minute and making it a whole two hours earlier that I had originally sent out on the invite....just to avoid the rain.

Despite a lot of people not being able to make it due to the time change, some did, and right on queue at the original party time, it started to pour.

You might think this has nothing to do with music artworks and graphic design, but theres always a morale to the story, right?

Make bold decisions. Work with what you got. Expect the unexpected.
