Over the last few months we have been struggling to get regular delivery from Rossmore Sorting Office, despite items being tracked and paid for 24hr delivery! we get 2 drops in a week if were lucky, then they drop off a bundle, or they say they have called when they have not (CCTV Proof)

Please bare with us during this difficult time, we try to collect when we can, and when they admit they have the items!

This battery we recently removed from a Macbook Pro, it went from being completely normal to exploding in 48 hours! With the older Macbooks the battery is under the mouse pad, if you have issues with not responding, left or right click then you may have a problem..
Many laptops use lithium-ion batteries, and swollen batteries are a known issue with this kind of battery. Are swollen lithium-ion batteries dangerous? The general consensus is yes, swollen batteries can be dangerous and can be a fire or explosion hazard. Removing a swollen battery from your laptop can also be perilous, but it’s also unsafe to keep running your laptop with one or otherwise leaving it in your laptop.

Facebook hacking – a warning ⚠️

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been getting reports of a slightly different Facebook hacking attempt so read on and keep vigilant…

Individuals have had their Facebook accounts hacked and then the hackers have been purchasing advertising with any payment methods connected to the account.

You might have your card details stored on there for making charity donations, purchasing apps, games and add-ons or because you manage advertising on a business page.

The hackers have then been posting indecent images from the victim’s Facebook profile in order to get the profile banned and removed from the platform – therefore covering their tracks…

It’s unfortunately a scam which has been catching a few people out so here’s what you can do to protect yourself:

- Set up a strong password on your Facebook account. Use three random words and make sure the password is unique to your other online accounts.
- Turn on two step verification on your Facebook account.

And if you think you’ve been hacked and your card details have been compromised, report it to your bank immediately.

You should then call us on 101 and/or report the hacking to Action Fraud too.

You can also report the hacking to Facebook.
