BIGTREETECH Octopus is a powerful motherboard with eight stepper driver ports, allowing it to control up to eight different axes. This feature is particularly useful for multicoloured printing and tool changers, which allow the use of various tools / modules such as different 3D print heads, laser engraving, laser cutting, and so on.
The mainboard is compatible with open-source software such as Klipper, Raspberry Pi, and Marlin.
