Electricity demand across holiday parks has changed dramatically in recent years.
Modern pitches are now supporting far more high-consumption appliances and EV charging than many sites were originally designed for.
This isn’t about guests doing anything wrong, guest expectations and behaviours are simply evolving.
The challenge for operators is balancing rising energy costs, increasing electricity demand, ageing infrastructure and maintaining a great guest experience.
The parks responding best are focusing on:
- visibility
- fairness
- transparency
- smarter energy management

This week saw a visit to Smytham Holiday Park, who have recently installed a combination of 67 of our retrofit smart meters & new Rolec boxes 🏕️

Matt and Rachael were able to give the team a full walk through of both the customer facing app and their back end office system to ensure a smooth transition for their upcoming opening!
