It’s the last day of our exhibition at , and our final Meet The Artist is - cofounder of !

Lynn is showing a new body of etchings created with a saline-salt etching process she’s been exploring. Her plates, prints in progress and etching tools are displayed alongside too.

It’s the last two days of our exhibition of contemporary printmaking at !

Here is Jeremy Speck (), who is selling his Lino prints and screenprints at the exhibition as well as showing other works printed on wood and letterpress mixed media handprinted books.

Jeremy is also one of our brilliant printmaker tutors so why not join one of his relief print/ letterpress or lino courses this autumn?

Our second artist today is Julie Phelan a brilliantly versatile printmaker who translates her outdoor drawings to layered monotypes, collagraphs and painterly woodcuts.

There are only three days left to see our exhibition of contemporary printmaking at !

Each day we are highlighting the exhibiting artists, sharing their work and inspiration.

Here is artist Julia Finzel, whose etchings are for sale framed and unframed in the exhibition. Julia has been printmaking for decades -using etching, photo etching, mezzotint and monoprint processes.

Steph is also a participant of the popular painterly woodcut group at . As well as woodcut prints, Steph’s collagraphs are for sale as in the exhibition, and she is displaying a sketchbook showing her work in progress.

Members Inspired by Trip to Dartmoor

Double Elephant members gathered last week in Widecombe-in-the-Moor to share ideas, explore creative responses to Dartmoor, and to kick-start the Dialogue with Dartmoor Project. An exciting new project being lead by artists Douglas Anderson and Jason Ewing.

After an inspiring morning discussion, members headed out to sketch, walk, reflect and explore around Hound Tor beneath blue skies and sunshine.

With opportunities for makers and artists to participate in a funded and supportive Collaborative Arts project between 2026 - 2027, this is a brilliant project for members to get involved in.
A second trip is already being discussed!

Chrissy prints both at Double Elephant and in her own North Devon studio, creating her expressive seascape and landscape screenprints. They are available to buy both framed and unframed from THG.

Only five days left to visit our exhibition of contemporary printmaking at !

Each day we are highlighting the exhibiting artists - this mornjng it’s Lauren Forrester ( ).

Lauren loves the connections between design, politics and printmaking - the small communities making posters and zines as part of radical, activist and working class movements throughout history.

After a career working as a graphic designer Lauren began to feel a little disconnected and tied to her laptop, having now found Double Elephant she fell into printmaking and discovered a creative community with shared values.
