Webrecruit

Webrecruit As the UK and Ireland’s leading hybrid recruiter, Webrecruit combines online recruitment solutions wi

When we set up back in 2001, we wanted to change the way the recruitment industry operated. We recognised that businesses were paying recruitment agencies a lot of money to help them fill their vacancies when all they really needed was the right exposure and tools to help them manage their own applications. Since then, we’ve developed a complete range of recruitment solutions, including tailored a

dvertising packages, applicant tracking systems, careers sites and resourcing services, and have successfully empowered thousands of HR and recruitment teams to take control of their hiring.

We are delighted to extend our support to Joanne Parris in her effort to raise funds for Parkinson's UK On September 24th, Jo will participate in a half marathon event in Warrington, Cheshire, to raise money for Parkinson's UK and pay tribute to her late father.

'My father had been battling Parkinson's for two decades. He was my true inspiration, displaying immense resilience, courage, and grace. Therefore, I am eager to contribute to Parkinson's UK research by raising funds for the most promising treatments and finding a cure.'

Help us in supporting a fellow team member's fundraising efforts for the National Deaf Children's Society.

Around 11 million people in the UK suffer from some form of hearing loss, with 50,000 of them being children. This can manifest as either complete or partial deafness in one or both ears.

For one team member (Piran Kiszczuk), this was a personal experience where he had to relearn ways to communicate with his child.

Thanks to the support of the National Deaf Children's Society, he has been able to learn sign language and has been given the support needed to help understand what his child is going through.

Piran Kiszczuk is showing his gratitude to charity by hosting a 24-hour livestream on Twitch today starting at 3 PM. During the stream, he will be cosplaying as Aerith Gainsborough, one of his beloved characters from Final Fantasy 7.

Follow the links below for the live stream and the JustGiving page to support his efforts.

What are your plans for this Earth Month and Earth Day?

It's 2023, and environmental sustainability is on everyone's minds, so if you're struggling for ideas on what to do this Earth Month or what you're going to do on Earth Day (22nd April 2023), why not take a moment to appreciate some of the UK's many National Parks?

We all know how important the conservation efforts are of the UK's National Parks, so we wanted to say a big thank you to our National Park partners.

Cairngorms National Park - https://hubs.la/Q01Mc39L0
Exmoor National Park - https://hubs.la/Q01MbZML0
North York Moors National Park - https://hubs.la/Q01MbZLS0

When recruiting, you can also do your part for the Earth by reducing your carbon footprint. Here are some quick ideas you can implement now to help reduce your organisation's emissions:

Interview Virtually - If you are looking to hire for one position but interviewing 6 candidates who each have a 1-hour car journey both ways, that equals 12 hours of car journeys and emissions. By holding interviews and assessments virtually, you immediately negate what can be seen as unnecessary travel.

Go Paperless - Deforestation is a global challenge, and whilst recycling paper-based materials is more commonplace, there are actions we can take at the forefront of this process by reducing our need and reliance on paper in our daily lives.

Offer a Cycle-to-Work Scheme - It's not just great for the environment, a cycle-to-work scheme also helps employees minimise their income tax, so it's a win for the environment and your employees.

If you enjoy films, remember that numerous members of the LGBT+ community have contributed to the film industry from both behind and in front of the lens.

At a time when LGBT+ lives are in the media, we encourage you to look 'Behind the Lens' and listen to LGBT+ peoples' lived experiences by visiting: https://hubs.la/Q01BJTPV0

How has Webrecruit assisted Northern Ireland's most prominent supporter of people with disabilities and health conditions in improving their recruitment process?

A spokesperson from USEL said: "We decided that we needed a more efficient solution to meet the needs of our business as the number of vacancies was increasing year on year. We wanted an easier solution that allowed candidates to apply online instead of completing a manual application form."

So what happened next?

Webrecruit ATS was implemented to help minimise the time it takes to find candidates and recruit new employees.
