Double birthday celebrations in the office this week 🎉

Clare surprised Shelley and Alice with a early birthday cake to celebrate - safe to say, it didn’t last very long!

And yes, they’re both a Ta**us - loyal, determined, and apparently very appreciative of carrot cake!

Your website is live… time to relax, right?

Going live isn’t the finish line - it’s just the start.

Before anyone asks… no, she didn’t sneak off to Vegas - it’s just how convincing the model village is!

Clare’s back from Hamburg and its Miniatur Wunderland, and safe to say, the place is on another level. One minute you’re in Las Vegas, the next you’re wandering through Venice, then suddenly there’s a full Formula 1 race happening - all in miniature.

And it’s not just for show either… There are tiny planes taking off, cars moving across bridges, and so much going on you don’t even know where to look.

Here are some things she learnt on her trip:-

Miniatur Wunderland is the world's largest model railway layout, featuring over 16,000 meters of track, ~290,000 figures, and 10,000+ train cars across 12 themed sections. The Knuffingen Airport features 47 aircraft that "take off" and land 250 times daily. The 1:87 scale allows for intricate detail on locomotives and scenery.

Clare said: “It’s incredible - there’s so much going on, you could easily spend hours just watching everything move (which I did). The backstage tour was really interesting too, where they show you how things are run and how mobile vehicles recharge themselves. The fact that the Formula 1 cars and drivers have their own personality, so every race is different, is outstanding! Mind-blowing stuff!”

Office update… Clare is heading to Hamburg this weekend to visit a model village - and honestly, it looks incredible.

The level of detail in this place is unreal. Tiny buildings, moving trains, whole cities in miniature, Monaco GP, and an actual airport!

We’re now debating whether this counts as a weekend trip or a very serious inspection of tiny details.

A little reminder that can save a lot of stress…

Don’t forget to renew your domain and hosting.

It might seem like a small admin task, but if it’s missed, your website can go offline - and with it:
- Your online presence
- Customer enquiries
- Emails (in some cases)

We’ve recently seen a few sites go down simply because renewals were missed and it’s always avoidable. And if you leave it too long, you can lose your domain completely, which means no website - and no emails!

Our advice?
- Set reminders well in advance
- Keep your contact and billing details up to date
- Or better yet, let us manage it for you
