A recently completed project in Scottish Ash with a black granite worktop with undermount ceramic sink. Solid Ash island unit top and corner display are around the fridge freezer. The Ash drawers are cut on the vertical rather than the normal horizontal. This shows the darker heartwood in the centre getting lighter towards the sapwood on the outside. The hand turned handles are also from the heartwood. All drawers are on soft close runners, dovetailed ash carcass with pine bottoms.
