As a IT Technician, successfully running a business for 11 years or more I have learnt a huge amount of skills in addition to training. I continue to grow my knowledge on a regular basis. Doing some work on this today, removed CMOS batteries as it's best practice as old coin cells can leak and damage electronics when this old. Quite a lot of work and so sketchy as the plastic is so so brittle. Anyway got them out and they were still intact so no harm done. Old school Toshiba Portege 660CDT 1996

Been doing some successful data recovery on a few dead, unusable and very much vintage systems for customers in recent weeks. This one seen here of similar age has CMOS battery dead unsurprisingly, otherwise working ok hehe

Good evening ! It's been a while since I have posted on here. Hope everyone is safe and well.
So just to say, I have had a busy and successful couple of months with my returning customers and quite a few new customers also. Doing OS installs, hardware repairs, replacing failed or damaged parts, optimisation, resolving security issues, configuring systems networks and advising customers. ✅
