A message to our customers & local community ❤️

Over the last few months, we’ve noticed something concerning with our reviews.

We’ve always been incredibly proud of the reputation we’ve built, and for a long time we maintained a 4.9⭐ rating thanks to the support, recommendations and genuine feedback from our customers. Recently, however, we’ve received a number of negative reviews from people we genuinely cannot identify as having used our services.

We initially gave every review the benefit of the doubt. We reached out to the people who left the reviews to understand what had happened, and where possible resolve any issues but unfortunately, we received no response.

What has made us particularly concerned is that some of the accounts leaving these negative reviews appear to have also left positive reviews for another local phone repair business.

We simply want to be transparent with the people who support us and let our community know why we are taking this seriously.

We’ve gone back through our repair records as we have started keeping track of recent repairs and bookings to make sure we can properly verify the customers we’ve dealt with and the work we’ve carried out. Our team works extremely hard to provide honest advice, quality repairs and, most importantly, great customer service.

This does genuinely affect our business. For customers who know us personally or have been recommended to us, a small change in our rating may not make much difference. But for people who aren’t local and find us through Google or online searches, reviews and star ratings can be a major factor in deciding who they trust with their phones. A drop from 4.9⭐ to 4.7⭐ may sound small, but when you’re a local independent business, every review can have an impact.

Our reputation has been built over many years by real customers, many of you who continue to recommend us to their friends, family and colleagues, and that means far more to us than any star rating ever could. ❤️

If you have genuinely used our services, we’d always encourage you to leave an honest review, whether your experience was positive or negative. Genuine feedback helps us improve and helps other local people make informed decisions.
