Today’s mission to get a heat pump online went like clockwork. It’s a good distance away from the main house and well out of range of any WiFi or cable infrastructure. After a new cable run and this new outdoor access point the heat pump is very happy and the added bonus is brilliant WiFi in the lovely garden. Perfect result.

Lighting control by again. This time is a commercial space which had an older system with no local support meaning a visit from a specialist from hundreds of miles away. The solution chosen is to renew the system as the building is systematically being renovated and updated over the coming months.

Additions to a job completed some time ago. Client decided their already copious home wasn’t quite large enough and needed to expand meaning more lighting circuits and some more networking points and WiFi coverage.

Investigating a problem today on a job that’s worked solidly for over 5 years but this week has fallen over. Couldn’t have found the problem without one of my most used tools. Invaluable to have a vast array of test kit. Found the issue with one cable that pulled the whole network down. ? ? Who knows. Fresh cable installed and we are all good.

Another “outdoor “ music system going in this week at the HQ I don’t know if the music is for the benefit of the staff, the visitors or the horses themselves but I’m having a brilliant time creating a horse themed playlist.
