Job Vacancy – Site Manager (Electrical & Telecoms)
Location: Gateshead (North East)
Employment: CIS Basis
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Vehicle: Company van provided
Salary: To be confirmed, dependent on experience
JTL MR DIG Groundworks Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee electrical and telecoms projects across the North East.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards while maintaining excellent communication with clients, supervisors and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day delivery of electrical and telecoms projects.
* Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and plant.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities and utility providers.
* Complete site inspections, audits and documentation.
* Ensure programmes are met and resources are effectively managed.
* Promote high standards of health, safety and quality across all sites.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience managing utility, telecoms or electrical projects.
* NRSWA Street Works qualification.
* Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
Additional training and qualifications, including Manual Handling and other role-specific courses, will be provided where required.
