Scotland to ban the sale of fireworks in 2022

The bill is going into the Scottish Parliament, if it passes you will not be able to possess fireworks in Scotland without buying a license and sitting a test, even Asda will have to check you have a valid license.

We already have enough laws in the UK to prevent antisocial firework use, the laws just aren't enforced. This will destroy the retail shops in Scotland and inevitably lead to more home made and dangerous imported fireworks which is what happened last year in parts of Europe that banned fireworks.

Don't think you can just pay the fee and take the test as if your house is in one of the new No Firework Zones, your still banned.
