Rising inflation - an opportunity for retailers?

Inflation has hit a 40-year-high as energy bills soar and the cost-of-living crisis surges. Consumer Prices Index inflation rose to 9.1% in the year to May, the Office for National Statistics said.

With costs rising, retailers must consider increasing prices to pass on some of the cost increases to consumers who already expect price increases

Those retailers with access to data and a process in place to analyse that data will have the best opportunity to maintain profitability.
