Greater Lincolnshire welcomes more than 32 million visitors a year, with the county’s coast, countryside and market towns attracting people from across the UK.

Nationally, the AA forecast more than 46 million leisure journeys by car during the main summer holiday period from 17 July to 20 August 2026.

With residents and visitors taking to Lincolnshire’s roads for holidays, days out and family visits, accidents and unexpected vehicle damage can quickly disrupt summer plans.

It is always great to hear that a customer is happy with the finished result.

After repairing and respraying the badly scratched side panel, the CPRS team also touched up some additional areas and gave the vehicle a finishing wash before collection.

🎥 Your dash cam might not just protect you. It could help another road user too. Freedom of Information data shows that 9,775 pieces of road-user footage were submitted to Humberside Police between January 2022 and May 2025.

Footage can provide valuable evidence following an incident and help the police, insurers and those involved understand what happened.

However, a dash cam is only useful if it is working properly, check that yours is:
✅ Positioned correctly
✅ Recording clearly
✅ Showing the correct date and time
✅ Using a suitable memory card
✅ Being formatted in line with the manufacturer’s guidance

Remember, formatting erases the card, so always save any important footage first.
