Utilities & Fibre Networks (UFN) is looking for experienced Full Turnkey Civils Teams & Dig only teams to take on work in the Lincolnshire area. We need self-sufficient crews capable of managing the process from first break to final reinstatement, and teams for Dig only.

If you have a proven track record in Openreach infrastructure and have the capacity to pick up work immediately, let’s talk.

Project Requirements:

* Full Turnkey Capability: Excavation, duct laying, box building, and high-quality reinstatement (hot/cold lay).

* Compliance: All team members must hold valid NRSWA (Streetworks) cards and relevant Openreach civils accreditations.

* Self-Sufficient: Teams must provide their own Chapter 8 setup, plant (excavators/rollers), and calibrated equipment.

* Quality Focused: Must be able to provide clear "before, during, and after" photographic evidence for A55/as-built submissions.

Behind every smooth-running site is a brilliant coordinator, and for Utilities & Fibre Networks (UFN), that’s Becky—our phenomenal Streetwork Permitting Coordinator! 🚧✨

Becky is the driving force behind the scenes, expertly controlling our Traffic Management operations and liaising directly with local councils to keep our projects moving without a hitch.

But her most critical responsibility? Compliance and Safety. Becky ensures that Health & Safety is the top priority from day one. By meticulously managing our permits and ensuring strict compliance at every stage of a project, she keeps our crews safe, protects the public, and ensures our sites avoid those dreaded FPNs (keeping costly £ penalties firmly at bay!). 💷

Managing street works is a complex puzzle, but Becky handles it with total professionalism, making sure everything is fully compliant and by the book before a spade even hits the ground.

The young Eagle Owls rise to the occasion and clinch even more silverware!

At Utilities & Fibre Networks (UFN), we couldn't be prouder to sponsor this incredible group of youngsters. Giving back to our local community and supporting grassroots sports is at the heart of what we do, and seeing these boys shine shows exactly why it matters.

With four players unavailable this weekend, the challenge was clear from the start — but this squad doesn’t just handle adversity… they thrive in it. What unfolded across five unforgettable games was a showcase of grit, determination, unity, and heart.

Unbeaten on the day, the boys demonstrated incredible resilience. The tournament had everything: stunning comebacks, moments of real quality, and goals that wouldn’t look out of place in a goal-of-the-season catalogue.

But the standout moment? The teamwork. Absolutely brilliant. The togetherness, the work rate, the belief in one another—that’s what truly set them apart.

I just finished watching a fascinating talk with Elon Musk about where AI is headed. My first big takeaway: It’s easier to scale in space, it’s cheaper, and it’s always sunny.

While we are working hard on infrastructure projects down here at Utilities & Fibre Networks (UFN), it’s incredible to think about the "Unlimited Power" available just a few hundred miles up. ☀️

Why move AI to space?

No Clouds, No Night: Solar power is constant and 5x more powerful in space.

No Red Tape: It's often harder to get a permit for a power plant on land than it is to launch a satellite!

Cheaper over time: Musk thinks space will be the cheapest place for AI in less than 3 years.
