Stick drift!

Check out the carbon track inside this joystick module.

Over time, the wiper rubs across this track and wears grooves into it. Once that happens, the controller starts getting false readings, which is what causes stick drift.

Another PS5 controller saved and upgraded with my personal favourites GuliKit TMR joysticks.

Smooth, precise, and will not get stick drift!

What a turnaround!

This controller came in looking like it had been left in a drawer to die, all because of a missing L2 trigger.

We fitted a replacement, gave it a proper clean, and frank added a couple of subtle custom touches to make it pop.

This Helldivers 2 controller is my personal controller...

This controller wasn’t anything super fancy when the day started… but one idea turned into another, and before I knew it... upgrades!

The upgrades included a clicky kit for the face buttons, GuliKit TMR joysticks, a custom look, and a grippy back shell that feels absolutely brilliant in the hands.

I fitted matte black action buttons, a matching D pad, yellow thumbstick rings, and one of my favourite little details from the whole build: the classic style PlayStation button. It came out lovely and really finishes the front off.

I can’t believe I’ve been playing without TMR sticks for this long. What a difference. The metal thumbstick shaft gives a Smooth feel the tmr joysticks give a precise touch and ill never have to worry about stick drift.

Frank the Crab has, of course, inspected the workbench and declared this controller “democracy ready” although he did try to claim the yellow thumbstick rings as tactical flotation devices. 🦀

Really happy with how this one turned out. A clean black and yellow Helldivers 2 themed build with some proper performance upgrades under the shell.

A Spider Man theme, because who doesn’t want to feel like a superhero while gaming?

Here’s what went into this one:

· Custom Spider-Man shell
· Soft-touch back shell for extra grip during intense sessions
· Custom matching buttons
· Original style PS button for that classic nod
· Shiny red thumb rings to tie in with the D-pad

The red accents really pop against the web design, Frank gave this one a double claw tap of approval.

Remember when this sound meant the whole day/night was sorted?

No updates. No party chat. No waiting for patches to download.

Just snacks, split-screen, and “one more game” until boom it's way past bed time. 😂

For me it was Tomb Raider 2 playing the Great Wall over and over again because I was rubbish. 😂

We brought this classic PlayStation 1 style PS4 controller back to life with a full deep clean, brand new button membranes, and an upgrade to Gulikit TMR sticks.

The before and after? Night and day… according to Frank, who only comes out when it’s daytime...

We replaced the worn, grubby yellow button membranes, sorted the stick drift with a top of the line TMR upgrade, and cleaned out every bit of grime hiding in the cracks and crevices.

No more sticky buttons.
No more drift.
No more mystery gunk.
No more wondering if that crunch was a snack crumb or a biological discovery 😅

Now it’s fresh, responsive, and ready to head back to our customer for many more years of gaming.
